SEI2007年11月1日发布的CMMI采购管理模型(CMMI-ACQ V1.2)是在CMMI模型体系架构(CMF)基础上,整合了CMMI采购模型、软件采购模型(SA-CMM)和政府及产业采购的最佳实践,用于指导采购方进行采购管理的参照模型。和CMMI-DEV相比较,两个模型是互相支持的,其中,CMMI-ACQ主要针对采购方而CMMI-DEV主要针对供应方,而针对REQM、TS、PI,供需双方通常均参与并共同执行相关过程。对于国内的金融、电信等常年进行大量采购的龙头企业而言,CMMI-ACQ是一个非常好的参照模型,可以帮助企业有效的进行供应商选取、供应合同拟定和授予、供应商能力管理等。同时,CMMI-ACQ也可以看成供需双方的共同语言,使得质量问题可以以更低的价格、更快的速度、和更适当的技术予以解决。
